Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A young man named Sam (Anders Danielsen Lie) wakes up after a party in Paris to a world in which almost everyone has turned into zombies.
Kitty Cameo: Sam barricades himself in his apartment building and watches the zombies wandering aimlessly around outside. He sometimes shoots paint balls at them. Then one day he spots a tabby cat on the sidewalk across the street.
Anxiously, Sam goes down to the door and tries to coax the cat to come to him using a tin of food.
The cat comes somewhat close then turns and moves behind a car.
Implied Kitty Carnage Warning! Sam ventures out to get the cat but is attacked by zombies. He’s barely able to escape them and get back inside. Back upstairs he looks down to see the cat sitting next to one of the zombies, looking up at him disdainfully. Sam then shoots a gun at the cat, presumably killing it.
The head animal trainer on the film was Pascal Tréguy.
Final Mewsings: Cats go in or out whenever they want.
