Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this filmstrip!

Synopsis: An educational Pet Stories filmstrip by Encyclopaedia Britannica Films Inc. finds a little girl named Kathy trying to give her pet kitten Lucky a bath.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Since it is a warm day Kathy decides to give her tabby and white cat Lucky a bath. It’s obvious she has no idea what she’s doing, or she wouldn’t have come up with that idea in the first place.

After Kathy unsuccessfully tries to climb the tree she uses a rope and then a ladder to try to reach Lucky, but to no avail. Finally Kathy’s mother suggests putting bowls of milk and meat beneath the tree.
