Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: In response to a recent spate of suspicious fires, the latest of which caused a number of tragic deaths, the relentless NYPD Chief of Detectives, bulldog-faced Earl Eischied (Joe Don Baker), is hot on the trail of an amoral arsonist (Michael Baselon) who has a convenient sideline of selling expensive fire alarm systems.
Kitty Cameo: Returning from his nightly debauches, the meowing P.C. bursts through the apartment window to be greeted by a weary Eischied who has just been awakened by a phone call. “Well, well, playboy of the western world, nice to see you back,” Eischied comments wryly to his cat.

This is the last appearance P.C. would make in the short-lived series.

Final Mewsings: P.C. is lucky to have an owner who knows the 20th century classics.
