Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: IMF agent Barney Collier (Greg Morris) takes most of the risks in this episode, the last of the original series, when he schemes to outfox the glamorous and unscrupulous Jena Cole (Barbara McNair), who masterminded the theft of the Marnsburg Crown Jewels, which are considered priceless because of their historic value.
Kitty Cameo: Jena Cole’s favorite jewelry fence Gerald Carter (Jack Bernardo) walks out of his apartment carrying his fluffy white cat, which mews and looks at the camera.

Carter is joined at the elevator by IMF agents Duval (Ray Ballard), who kneels down to stroke and praise the slightly apprehensive / bewildered cat, and Willy Armitage (Peter Lupus), who professes a good natured preference for dogs.

While Carter is distracted by the conversation, Willy subdues him with a fast acting drug, which allows Duval to work in disguise as Carter for the remainder of the program.

Final Mewsings: Thankfully, there was no need to drug the kitty, and the IMF team’s next mission, as yet unfilmed, was to find a loving home for the perplexed feline.
